Posidonia Monitoring

The monitoring of Posidonia Oceanica (sea grass) allows the studying and understanding of problems facing the plant’s natural environment.

After careful analysis, necessary measures can be taken to preserve this habitat, which is protected by the European Community and is of particular importance to the Mediterranean Sea.

• Nature and depth of the superior and inferior limits.
• Coefficient A: studying the point of broken seaweed gives an estimate of the damage caused by the mechanical activity.
