The coastal marine environment of the Mediterranean Sea presents common problems for habitats and species resulting from frequentation, pollution, impacting economic activities, which limit the effective management and protection of natural resources and the sustainable development of the territory, for the resolution of which a common approach is needed between those responsible for management. 
The project aims to address them with the joint and synergistic action of Regions and Protected Areas that, networked together, intend to produce changes in the current systems of governance of the territory, in relation to the need outlined by the EU to end the loss of biodiversity and the degradation of ecosystem services, critical issues that lead to unsustainable socio-economic losses.
